I want to make a powerful control deck where blue is primarily countering whatever my opponent throws at me. Green are my big creatures for damage. And white is my sorcery and enchantments also with some creatures. Is this a good direction? I want to keep it post rotation as well. PLEASE HELP! thanks :)

Thanks! And do you think blue should be used for countering and controlling the board?

having a few mana leaks and other counterspells certainly never hurt a deck, just make sure to be running dual lands like glacial fortress and sunpetal grove to ensure you always have the right mana. i have a green/white deck Garruk Smash that you can check out, the green creatures in there are probably a bit smaller than what you are planning on, but on the enchantment side of things, you could definitely switch out the troll hides, and probably 2 of the arrests for counter spells.

I just threw this together in response to your post; I only spent a couple minutes on it so you'll probably want to fiddle with it a lot but maybe it'll give you something to work with. It's all post rotation too. Hope it helps.

@shmedlap thanks a lot! Your deck looks really good. I will definitely use it as a precursor.@keshav wow thanks for making that deck. Very close to what I have in mind :) Now I just have to make one!

sun titan, oblivion rings, pacifism, etc.. for white. sun titan gets your enchantments back and allows them to be reused. as for green, id recomend garruk, primal hunter. he pumps out creatures ridiculously fast, and his ultimate is ridiculous. just some ideas on where to start
