Have an idea for a Kazuul EDH tell me if it's doable

What I'm hoping to do is make a deck where I gain a variety of benefits from players attacking, with things similar to Kazuul's ability although I'd like to expand on that and gain other advantages. The first obvious thing that I should build towards which comes to mind is to either control when attacks can happen or make it happen every turn. I know, that can turn risky/dangerous very quickly, especially in commander. Creature destruction is one obvious choice I could use to have an advantage in a game, but are there any others out there? I'm also open to possibly changing my commander to [Basandra, Battle Seraph] but I was aiming to build a mono-red deck.
I've been considering card:War's Toll and Fumiko the Lowblood from the start and Avatar of Slaughter something I like but I'd think twice about putting it into this deck however it does add a level of chaos which I like until, of course, creatures with trample come at me. It sounds like it'll likely be better and easier just to play red/white over mono-red and lean more towards a political style of play. Regardless of which way I go with Kazuul, War's Toll and Fumiko are definite picks and there are a few m13 cards I'm eyeing too.

Unfortunately, red is widely regarded as the worst utility color in EDH because it lacks solid creature destruction (as well as enchantment destruction). With Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs you would likely benefit more from a political strategy with cards like card:War's Toll, Curse of the Nightly Hunt , Fumiko the Lowblood , and possibly Avatar of Slaughter . In a multiplayer game this kind of approach will force other players to make difficult decisions but it could also lead to you being targeted first.
