Help Against Red Deck
Deck Help forum

Hey, I've just been having a lot of issues versing mostly creature-less red decks. (The only creatures are Inferno Titan and Urabrask the Hidden totaling 4 creatures. The main issue is that I'm playing a White Weenie-Knight deck Knights of the New Altea, and every thing I attempt to cast quickily gets taken care of by a cheap burn spell, and if I ever get a decent field, they all get hit by Slagstorm . Tumble Magnet also takes care of anything of mine that survives the onslaught of burn, and proliferate keeps a steady amount of counters on it. I want to try to keep this deck standard, and not have to always sideboard something in when facing a red deck, but does anyone have any answers that may help me survive against this type of deck? Thank you.
I see you already have divine offering in your sideboard, which is real solid against tumble magnet -- Spellskite is also a great include here, if you can afford a playset.
the only other cards I might suggest are Silence , cast on your turn before you drop your creature, to force opponent to wait until after his untap to burn your creature, setting him back a turn, card:Apostle's Blessing, which blanks one burn spell or avoids Tumble Magnet once, or Luminarch Ascension -- force your opponent to choose between burning you or your creatures.
there may also be some changes to how you play the deck that will help? Instead of dumping a creature every turn on turns 1-3 and watching them burn, just kick back the first couple of turns, drop some Wall of Omens and Honor of the Pure s, and then turn 4 throw down a bunch of creatures. just a thought. good luck.

as mentioned spellskite is a tank, silence is not the best answer, brave the elements seems like your best bet.

I think I actually like Emerge Unscathed better than Brave the Elements , here -- I suppose what matters is whether he's running into board wipers more often than targeted burn.

Leyline of Sanctity would work very well with the Luminarch Ascension . In four turns, you can start throwing down 4/4 fliers that he would have to use two burn spells on each.

Spellskite is an absolute monster but not friendly to the budget. Looking at the deck, if you find your self playing against Monored Thing, just swap in your whole side board and you should be good.
Also, something else you might want to prepare for: Mono Black Thing

Brave the Elements and Emerge Unscathed can help with the burn spells
