Help making a better deck

Hi everyone, im pretty new and im struggling with building a deck.

I dont know much about construction, i hear people talk about planned turns and finishers, but i just wouldnt know what cards do what.

I am trying to build a deck i can take to PAX AUS. I want to use Black, White and Red. I love battalion effects.

Ive been compiling a list of cards i might want to include and just kinda working around but could really use some help, even if its just what card i should be working my deck around etc.

Should i wait for any of the cards from DGM as well?
