Help me break Thragtusk broke!
Deck Help forum

So I have this little deck going that I'd like to refine and bring to FNM if it can be made competitive. It's Simic ramp/aggro, utilizing Arbor Elf , Elvish Visionary , Elvish Archdruid , and Somberwald Sage for early-game mana ramp (frequently reaching 6 mana by T3 and 8 by T4) leading into (ideally) a T3 Thragtusk and T4 Deadeye Navigator . The goal thereafter is to abuse Soulbond to flicker Thraggy over and over again during the opponent's EoT, flooding the board with tokens and whoring life points.
I run four copies of Master Biomancer because he's incredible with the Elves: the Archdruid pumps him up; he feeds the mana pool, and since Elves are cheap I can often drop them as 7/7s or so for as little as one green mana.
Most of my drawing power comes in the form of Elvish Visionary , so I'd like to try to find a way to drop in a Fathom Mage or two without hampering my core too much.
The hardest part is deciding what instants and sorceries to run. Right now I'm leaning toward Bioshift for obvious reasons, and Cyclonic Rift because I can fairly consistently overload it by T4 while maintaining a board presence.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone's willing to look it over and give me some significant feedback--it doesn't have to be long, but I'd like serious input. Criticism is more than welcome, so long as it's insightful.
If you care to try, the deck can be found here; deck:quad-core-multi-tusking. Thank you!
don't hate on the guy's idea and just offer him a completely new one...it may be an old trick, but it sure ain't moldy. G/W aggro still tops tournaments using Restoration Angel and Thragtusk . just because you don't like the idea doesn't mean you get to enforce what someone does or doesn't do lol

I'd avoid Bioshift . It's a dead draw except under the best conditions, and even then it has a high chance of getting you 2-for-1'ed when you go all-in on one creature. You may be better off with a Simic Charm to help protect your stuff.

Bioshift is a card you only use when one of your creatures with counters is gonna die and then you move em elsewhere. i wouldnt really use it as a buff

True. You could probably use the Simic Charm to keep the creature from dying in the first place, though.

@RedCloud2012: I don't mean to be a jerk, but I asked for advice on this deck--not the Boros aggro I'm not building. I get that you aren't impressed, but here's one thing that Deadeye Navigator & Thragtusk have over Boros Reckoner & card:Inquisitor's Flail: the ability to dodge removal for 1U, each. Rapid Hybridization , Murder , Abrupt Decay , Oblivion Ring , and many, many more options all laugh in the Reckoner's face.
@JokerWx13: Thanks. It was cool of you to say that on my behalf.
@landgrafb: I've pulled Bioshift from the deck. The ways I'd originally intended to use it were primarily (1): getting an unblocked creature through, then instantly making it a monster by shifting most of my counters to it before the combat damage step, and (2) dropping numerous counters onto a Master Biomancer in response to my own creature resolving or re-entering the battlefield. Still, I'm valuing protection above offense where instants are concerned, so I've replaced them all with Simic Charm .
Thanks for your feedback, guys. My "ears" are open.

It's an old dog, moldy trick. Here's one nobodys thought of yet. Inquisiters flail on Boros Reckoner Cant go wrong against anything because of first strike if you need it for double dam or if your ooponent is attacking with a 5 or more let it do double dam to wreckoneer. Skull crack and said combo and stuff like that will own you ...dont do it.
