Help Me Bring the Pain with Pain Seer

Deck: The Walking Pain (Mono-Black Humans Aggro)
Pain Seer, mono-black human aggro seems like it should be a thing, right? So I built this and went 9-3 at my first FNM with it. I'd love to hear your feedback on the deck.
Note that I didn't want to just run a bunch of 4-ofs with Bile Blight in the format so I have a lot of 3-ofs and some 2-ofs and 1-ofs. As for Pain Seer , everything in the deck has CMC 3 or lower except for 5 cards (4x Gray Merchant of Asphodel and 1x Whip of Erebos ), and those five give lifegain to help offset their high CMC with Pain Seer. So far I really like Pain Seer. You don't have to attack with him, so he's pretty safe to play with.
I'm particularly interested in how this deck stacks up against the top decks in the meta.
Vs. Control I've got lots of early aggro, Xathrid Necromancer, Gray Merch, Thoughtseize and Duress (and Erebos). Seems pretty good, maybe very good.
Vs. MBD I've got 2 MB Bile Blights with 1 more in SB (for Pack Rats). The rest of it is fast aggro with Xathrid Necromancer. I like this deck because even if MBD boards in Drown in Sorrow I've still got humans with Xathrid. So far in testing it seems about even with MBD, and I'm favored on the play.
Vs. Mono-Blue I think I have plenty of aggression, discard, and spot removal. But do I need a Gild in my SB for Thassa?
Vs. G/R I've got the potential for 4 Lifebane Zombie and 3 Mogis's Marauder after SB. Plus Doom Blade and spot removal.
vs. Orzhov Control might be the toughest matchup, but 4x Lifebane Zombie and 4x Thoughtseize is a lot to help me deal with Blood Baron. Xathrid seems like an All-Star here, unless they're packing a lot of Last Breath . Erebos comes in out of the SB.
The best card against me is probably Anger of the Gods but that's why there are 4x Thoughtseize MB and 3x Duress in SB.

I like it man, I've also been trying to figure out how to use pain seer... I know there is untapped potential there...at the moment it's a side board/maybe for meive got a few xathrid's and pain seers too...I'm going to keep an eye out on your deck here to see how it works out for you.
