Help Me Fix My Mana

Deck Help forum

I have this deck I Scry Every Time (Now American!) that was originally izzet, but I saw some good white cards and decided to splash that color. My main problem has become getting the correct colored mana for the cards in my hand. If anyone could offer some help as to how to fix it, please do so!

Sounds like a job for Fetchlands

I know the deck said it is budget but shock lands would help you fix your mana much better than Guildgates. Another consideration would be Chromatic Lantern . I see that it is standard but it sounds as if you will only be playing it against your one friend, is there a reason you are staying standard? If not check lands also could be great since they have a chance of coming out untapped.

Don't forget it is also a budget deck, fetches are great in budget decks, almost as good as revised duals.

From what i've seen, fetchlands are pretty expensive, aren't they?

Unfortunatly yes, the lowest is around 40, and the highest is around 120 on StarCity

I'm sorry, I didn't use sarcasm italics. I was adding to what Jpenguin said to the dude who suggested fetches and them not being standard. Yes fetches range from $40-100 and revised duals run upwards of $150 for some.
