Help on "Counter Surge" [Budget Upgrade]

I am looking for help on my Counter Surge upgrade I tried. Counter Surge Upgrade Budget

I am farely new to mtg and thus I am not that good in deck building. In my Maybeboard are some cards I have lying around through drafts and other small stuff I bought in the last month that I thought might work well with this deck.

Do you guys think I should drop the energy theme completly as I cut back on it quite a bit or should I maybe put more energy synergy back in?
