Check out Strangelove's Wurms Armageddon.
I'm thinking it needs some kind of card advantage because I'm consistently emptying my hand turn 4-5.
Does anyone have suggestions?
I'd also like to add Boneyard Wurm to maybe compensate for board wipes, etc. Do you think that it would work with card:Descendants' Path or should I focus more on responding with protection cards ( such as [Rootborn Defenses] ) ?
[Armada Wurm] (though it hasn't been officiated yet) has been awesome for this theme. I'm hoping it is printed as has been spoiled.

I'm loving this deck. I was honestly going to do a selesnya build, but there is too much diversity to do what I wanted. Thus, I'm going to play with two decks. This wurm deck is now one of them. Rootborn Defenses is a great card. The populate mechanic on it will only work on the Armada Wurm or Worldspine Wurm . This is not a bad thing though. Boneyard Wurm could be a game saver, but it will not be as effective as Splinterfright in that situation. Of course, then we're going into Golgari type cards. If only Asceticism wasn't going out of type. >.<

Alas, Asceticism is gone :(
Populate also works with Grove of the Guardian :)
And I would use Boneyard Wurm with card:Descendants' Path + Mwonvuli Beast Tracker as a game saver :D

Thats actually a really nice combo. I love how good Descendant's Path is! Armada Wurm was just confirmed. It is exactly as is it was leaked. Hopefully he isnt going to get crazy expensive. I already feel bad for people that want 2 - 4 Vraskas. lol Do you think more Trostani's would be needed? The life gain she offers is amazingly good with all of these creatures with high toughness. lol

I know! Trostani is so fun, but I was really lacking draw. Garruk, Primal Hunter 's draw gives such an advantage to this deck to the point of being a win con.
