Help with Boros exalted

I decided to try updating a pre-rotation deck I saw that used Exalted and Archwing Dragon , and this is what I came up with: Puff, the Archwing Dragon. I would like to stick to the budget side, so even though Sublime Archangel would be an obvious inclusion, she's a little out of my price range.
The use of Angelic Wall over Aven Squire is to have some defense early in the game.
One thing I wonder about, though, is if it would be better to go Rakdos instead of Boros. Rakdos would provide some cheap removal and the use of extra dual lands for mana fixing.
Actually, there are 13 exalted cards. Thank you for your insightful analysis and suggestions. If I could edit the title of the post, I would gladly do so in hopes that it might please you ever so slightly.

It's still not exalted by playing bad exalted cards.
I suggest dropping the Reckless Waif Flip , Stonewright , and Splatter Thug then go:
+4 Aven Squire +1 Brimstone Volley +1 Burning Oil + other cards.
I don't think Boros Exalted can work honestly. BW can since they both have exalted cards, so the red creatures are rather lackluster if you don't have exalted to go with them.
Since nothing in this list has trample, having the Stonewright to pump a creature that can easily be chumped isn't worth the investment.
Reckless Waif Flip potentially requires you to Time Walk yourself by not playing anything turn 2/late game and can easily be flipped back over by yourself late game with your low CMC creatures.
Splatter Thug seems nice, but like I said earlier. First strike means nothing if it just gets chumped.

Honestly I've seen some mean Sublime Archangel (with or without Silverblade Paladin ) + Rush of Blood + Fling decks. They are a little fragile but I've been 1 hitted in MANY games just because I lacked the removal to take the angel down, even then, just staring down a Paladin or similar can be pretty obnoxious.

Having 8 total exalted cards in a deck does not make it an exalted deck.
