Help With My STD Format Burn/Counter Deck

Built the deck around burn, and counter/control.

I'd like to get rid of the Skaab Ruinator and Misthollow Griffin I just got back into MTG so I don't know my way around the standard format cards, or the modern format for that matter.

Any help would be nice, throw stones, bounce ideas.
