Help with Rhys token deck

I recently acquired five cards that I needed to beef up my token deck. I think with the way I play, at least three of the cards will beef my cards up on the field. The five cards are: Beastmaster Ascension, Fecundity (mostly for card draw), Overwhelming Instinct (can be put in over Fecundity), Cathars' Crusade (I think it should be a staple for white tokens) and Nullmage Shepherd (for artifact and enchantment destruction).
Here's a link to my deck: Token around with Rhys
One thing I'd like to point out is that I'm rarely the target at my card shop's commander event, as there are combo decks that usually get the focus. Any help would be appreciated, but I can't get any more cards than what I have now.

Is Doubling Season out of your price range? Its currently the most expensive card in my rhys deck, but I think its well worth it.
With that said, Beastmaster Ascension , card:Cathars' Crusade, and Nullmage Shepherd really do need to be in your deck. Rhys is ridiculously good at getting creatures out, and what I've seen works best is just packing your deck with ways to buff them up. I would recommend removing Leyline of Vitality because neither the toughness boost or life-gain are really relevant in EDH as a result of the prevalence of combo decks. Also, Sabertooth Nishoba and Oversoul of Dusk are weird choices for EDH. Is there some red/blue deck(s) you hate playing against?

Doubling Season is too expensive right now for me to get. Eventually I probably want to look at getting more nonbasic lands and less basic lands to fuel my mana needs. A lot of the things you have are well within my price range for now, but I think from your list, I might decide to get Coat of Arms, as it would work wonders with my deck. Thanks for the suggestions!
