I've seen several decks now utilizing the new Simic cards from Gatecrash that allow for manipulating counters. Here's my take on it, which I want some suggestions on: Mutant Growth

I really like Zameck Guildmage in this deck because it's a two drop that allows you to add and remove counters for card advantage. Bioshift (not yet in the database) is another great card because it allows counters to move around at instant speed. Yay!

Then I have the Master Biomancer combo with Primordial Hydra and Fungal Sprouting to create some big guys....

So, what the verdict?

Is this to gimmicky for competitive standard play? I played a Golgari deck with Primordial Hydra and Corpsejack Menace and found the counter combo only lined up sometimes and the deck failed otherwise, so I tried to create some alternate win conditions in this deck.

well as i have done with my simic deck is that if you have undying creatures you can use the guildmage to take the counter off of the undying creature giving it a second chance lets say
