Help with Staunch-Hearted Warrior

Hey guys, so I have another question about a certain card, Staunch-Hearted Warrior . It says to put 2 +1/+1 counters on him whenever I cast a spell on him. I was wondering, if you had multiple on the battlefield, but only targeted one, could you still put two counters on the other one(s)?

you only put the counters on the creature you are targetting with a spell. when a creature refers to itself by name, it is only talking about itself, the one creature. otherwise it would say "each creature on the battlefield named Staunch-Hearted Warrior or something like that. see the wording on Relentless Rats .

compare the wording on Staunch-Hearted Warrior with Phalanx Leader . the leader specifies to put a counter on each creature you control.
