I just joined the site and in my excitement, I posted the contents of my three main decks. I'm kind of new to the game (only about a year) and I'd really appreciate some advice from more experienced players! .

A few tips that will make receiving constructive comments more frequently would be to deck cycle as often as you can (preferably during daylight hours), edit the hubs of your decks so they'll be categorized with similar decks and appear to more areas of the site, and finally remember to fill in a description for your decks (also be sure to include if the deck is casual or tournament.)

As for general deck building advise I'd advise reading this article: http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/rc/188it pretty much covers all you need to know to make some good decks.

As for advice on playing the game I'd suggest building a standard format deck (http://www.wizards.com/Magic/TCG/Resources.aspx?x=judge/resources/sfrstandard) then find a local card shop and attend their Friday Night Magic tournaments as often as you can, I've been playing mtg barely over a year now and I've been making the top 4 at my local FNM's for months.

After looking at your decks, I have some general advice about deckbuilding choices:

First, try to stay at the 60 card mark. Once you go over that, your deck is going to be more inconsistent because your chances of drawing any given card will decrease with every additional card you run.

Second, use 3x or 4x of your cards. When you have a deck with a lot of copies of a few different cards it will be more consistent than a deck with a few copies of a lot of different cards. You want to work with the cards that best accomplish what you're trying to do and then give yourself the highest chance you can to draw them during the game. The more copies of them you run, the higher that chance gets.
