So this card i have, Horizon Chimera one of its abilites is "Whenever you draw a card, you gain 1 life." What i was wonder is, if you used a card like Commune with the Gods would those five still count as drawing cards?

No. For a card to cause a "Draw" effect, it must specifically state "draw".

Any effect that "reveals" a card does not cause it to be "drawn". Nor does "put it into your hand"

As such, Commune with the Gods will not trigger Horizon Chimera 's ability, including if a card goes to your hand.

so I could use a card like Warriors' Lesson or Fate Foretold ? And another thing i was wondering is, What if you used a card like Thassa's Bounty but you targeted yourself. Would the three cards be worth the life?

Rules questions should be asked in the Q & A.

Warriors' Lesson and Fate Foretold would work. Thassa's Bounty gains you three life.

Yes, Warriors' Lesson and Fate Foretold would work nicely.

With Thassa's Bounty , you will be able to draw 3 cards and gain 3 life either way. Whether you target yourself or an opponent for the "3 cards from Library to graveyard" will not effect this. - The targeted portion of the spell does not effect who will draw the 3 cards (will be you), and will not change how much life you will gain (3 for the card draw, and none for the mill, as it is not card draw regardless of who it hits).

Horizon Chimera + Archangel of Thune + Fathom Mage = infinite combo. a bit harder to do in this meta. but it does go infinite.(well, you gain life equal to your deck...)

Khanye: not infinite, since your library does not have infinite cards. but one successful setup and you win the game
