How Can I Get Leyline Prowler Into My Black/Green Deck?

I would like to put Leyline Prowler into my black/green deck, but I cannot decide which cards to remove to make room for it; the most obvious candidate for removal is Deathrite Shaman, but making such a replacement would significantly increase the mana curve of my deck, and I am wary of doing that.
What does everyone else say about this subject? How can I get Leyline Prowler into my black/green deck?

I would cut all 4 Gift of the Deity. Putting auras on your own creatures is usually risky because a removal spell from your opponent two for ones you. Plus at 5 mana they're not efficient at all.

a higher mana curve isn't necessarily a bad thing though. Tron decks have a higher than average mana curve and are still quite powerful.

I agree with 420Emrakewl, cut 2 and 2 especially since Leyline Prowler provides mana if necessary

Oh yeah, didn't even notice the land count. So yeah, I'd cut four lands as well to add 4x Abrupt Decay and/or some hand disruption.

I appreciate the feedback that everyone has provided, so I now need to deliberate it before I take any actions.

I replaced the four copies of Deathrite Shaman with Leyline Prowler, which increased the average converted mana cost of the deck from 3.12 to 3.38; is that a major increase? I shall play several games with the deck before I decide for certain which creature I shall keep in the deck.

Upon further deliberation, I removed two copies of Leyline Prowler and replaced them with two copies of Deathrite Shaman, which lowered the average converted mana cost of this deck from 3.38 to 3.25, which I feel is more reasonable.

so you're bound and determined to keep 28 lands in the deck? have you not tested this yet?

FUyeahoe, I have not used this deck since reducing it to 60 cards (and who knows when I shall be able to, with this pandemic occurring), so I cannot yet comment about its functionality.

i kinda figured. once you start playing games with it, it won't take long to realize 28 lands is too many.

also, you can use a program called "cockatrice" to play for free on your computer. no need to pay for cards, it regularly updates and contains every card from every set.

my pauper deck has an average cmc of 4.1 and would have a big advantage against this deck. and its a pauper deck...

my recommendation is cut 4 lands.
