how can i make this deck legacy competative?

I made this deck and its a lot of fun to play against my friends, but i might want to take it down to my LGS and play some legacy. The deck is legacy because of the Stoneforge Mystic banning, and to include Mother of Runes . Is there any way for me to compete legacy and keep most of the cards? What suggestions would you suggest?

If you moved into Death and Taxes you'd be able to keep around half of the spell base intact. I recommend googling the mtgs primer.
