How do I deal with bloodbaron?

I'm playing green black midrange, and the only decks I seem to be losing to all run blood baron and its always the thing that kills me, while its still a 4/4 I've tried flashing in a boon satyr infront of it but they always have a removal spell in hand for that, and I've considered running plummet in the sideboard but that seems like a desperation move and will probably be too late at that point. The only thing that I can think of at the moment is arbor colossas or kalonian hydra, any advice would be great.
(Planning to add Drown in Sorrow post BotG)
(Please don't tell me to change colours and/or decks I really like this one and it performs really well, the only other decks I struggle against are control based, prodmently bant and esper control that runs far too many counters, for me to play around)
The above answer is pretty decent if you are playing black. Also, any other sac effects are good. Celestial Flare is a good way to get rid of him if you are playing white. Red offers you Mizzium Mortars and there is a new burn spell spoiled in BNG that will take care of him. Also, U/R gives you Turn / Burn , which is my favorite way to deal with problems like BBoV.

A fight effect card... Since you are playing green. I don't know if there are any in print... I am sure there are, though. Best of luck, man.
I personally went ahead and played Jund midrange for the options against the baron. It helped much more, but I understand and respect your "not changing your deck" decision.

If you have a creature big enough to tango with it like Arbor Colossus s or Deadbridge Goliath then Pit Fight could do the trick. As it stands it won't help much as the only creature you have that is bigger than Blood Baron of Vizkopa is black.
Honestly the suggestions for Devour Flesh are probably among the better ones you are liable to find.

Devour Flesh has been extremely reliable for me when needing to get rid of blood baron.

Polukranos, World Eater is one way to stall it at least! but it'd probably be dead soon after casting. Splashing red for Mizzium Mortars could help, and with red you could also maybe add in Xenagos, The Reveler or the new god of revels. If you're running caryatids, then the manabase will only require a little bit of tweaking, otherwise a sacrifice effect like flesh is your best option as mentioned above. You could try your luck with Ratchet Bomb , but really, it's a bit slow and clunky.

Pit Fight would be a good fight effect to bolster the point gnarlicide made

Pit Fight is, in my opinion, the best removal spell that green possesses not called Domri Rade . It's really good with a deathtouch creature like Sedge Scorpion .
