How to deal with Control, namely Supreme Verdict and Terminus?

I have a G/W aggro creature-heavy deck, and cannot beat the first board-wipe. I have 2x card:Faith's Reward maindeck but it does not stop terminus, I do not wish to put in Nevermore but seem to have no choice.
My deck: deck:standard-13-10-12-1

With an aggro deck you generally just want to not overextend into the wipe. The idea being that you don't want to vomit your hand onto the battlefield; and, instead apply pressure with a few key creatures. While it doesn't beat Terminus , I've always found Wolfir Avenger was great for putting pressure on control. A keyrune or two also works.

Also yeah Thalia, I assumed you were running them but I just looked at the deck. She's so good.

Rootborn Defenses will stop a Supreme Verdict cold, wouldn't do anything against Terminus though

I Can't think of anything that can stop terminus from completely clearing the field. The only thing i can think of is removing key creatures from the field before it goes off. The best that i could do was use fiend hunters and cheap blink effects to keep important stuff safe when the board goes bye bye. The verdict is a little easier to get around. Fresh meat and gutter grime are just a couple of examples. Outside of that, the only thing i can say is don't over extend yourself in the early rounds.

I really only play control, and I have to agree with TheHorse. Wolfir Avenger seems like something I really don't want to see on my opponents side of the field. I'm just glad I haven't seen it much.

Keyrune's are relevant in the fight against sweepers, as they tend to dodge any/all forms of sorcery speed board wipes in standard. they are also just good cards to have.

Like TheHorse said, you just want to play around sweepers. Play your early threats one at a time and pump them with cards like Rancor . This strategy forces your opponents to use their wrath effects very poorly because they are only dealing with a few of your creatures. Thragtusk is also very good at defending against wipes because it produces a 3/3 body after any kind of removal.

Thalia and Nevermore are your two best cards against sweepers, either delaying or preventing them.
