What do you want the deck for?

Casual play with friends? Competition?

Also, which colors were you looking at?

If your looking for budget/standard keyrunes and guildgates are probably your best bet.

Well there are some cheaper duals than shocks/fetches, such as: (I'll list one of each type)

Rootbound Crag , Kazandu Refuge , Raging Ravine , Copperline Gorge , Temple of Abandon , Gruul Turf , Pinecrest Ridge , Mogg Hollows , Mossfire Valley .

Then theres always Terramorphic Expanse and Evolving Wilds .

If these are still too expensive, then guildgates, signets, and keyrunes are probably your best bet.

I say run all the pain lands such as Shivan Reef , Yavimaya Coast , and Karplusan Forest as they are effectively alpha dual lands with a slight drawback. Plus they are like 1-2$ and are incredibly underrated.
