How to 'Modernize' an aging B/R Sacrifical Zombie Deck..

Last year I started screwing around with a preconstructed deck themed around causing as much death as possible on both sides of the battlefield.. Eventually taking the form of Innistrad Slaughterhouse.. A fun to play little Sacrifical Zombie Deck. But I feel as though it was missing something that kept it from being truly competitive, be it from a lack of draw power or 4-5 CMC bombs, etc..

But now considering that about 90% of this deck rotates out in about a month, it only seemed natural to finally take the opportunity to "Modernize" it. That way, not only can I get some extra mileage out of a cool idea, but more importantly, to make sure I can say I have another deck that can (at least) hold it's own in a competitive environment..

But aside from obvious stuff, like adding some Blackcleave Cliffs , etc., and trading out the Searing Spear s for Lightning Bolt , it's hard for me to decide what direction to take this.. In the past I've considered acquiring some Mortician Beetle s & Shambling Remains , as well as working a few Fling s back in, but I wanted to get plenty of input before I start making any drastic changes..
