How useful is Phyrexian Dreadnought?

Deck Help forum

I'm thinking about building a token deck, and was browsing random cards when I stumbled upon Phyrexian Dreadnought . How practical would he be in a token deck/low drop deck? I'm assuming very, but I need to hear weaknesses of it.

It's only good with Stifle .

I said token deck for a reason. You usually have more than enough tokens that the casting cost isn't all too important. Though Stifle looks pretty interesting.

The best uses of the Dreadnought are Stifle , Voidslime etc. if you want to keep it to swing.
I'd use it like this: Pandemonium , or Stuffy Doll +Dead Reckoning (I also use card:Death's Shadow for that combo.)

Hm, very interesting. May instead use it for a high-risk deck using what you suggested as well.

Very impractical unless you're using it in some kind of combo or in conjunction with an ETB ability or ability counter. Sacrificing your board to get a single creature with no protection is unnecessarily dangerous.

Ok, so it definitely would fit in a R/B high-risk deck.

When you finish your deck, post a link here, and I'll see what suggestions I can make.

Useful card, and I should be getting a few New Phyrexia packs here soon. Who knows? I may draw one. :D
