I need a competitive, budget modern deck. Please give any ideas. Thanks!!!
You could build pretty cheap Melira deck. The combo pieces (Melira, Sylvok Outcast , Kitchen Finks / Murderous Redcap and Viscera Seer ) are not that expensive, and then you need a Birthing Pod a couple of mana dorks and utility creatures.

U Tron still maintains the cheapest cost that I've seen for a modern competitive deck. I Fight For the Users! is my wife's version which is $187.78.
Affinity can be a bit much due to Mox Opal which the deck can't really function without.

RDW, some Burn decks. Mono U Tron is my favorite, and really cheap.

RDW is usually always cheap.
See if one of these does it for you. Keep in mind that you can remove the fetches and balance the landbase.

That's basically a standard Merfolk build. You can lower the cost by replacing Thassa, God of the Sea with something else. It's a pretty cheap deck considering the price range of most Modern decks.

If you drop out the fetches, then the deck is pretty cheap. The deck consists of terrible commons that have cycling and those are all cheap. Overall, the deck shouldn't be too much to buy.

Heres a melira deck for $200. Its not entirely modern legal since Green Sun's Zenith are banned, but you could be creative and replace them with something else.. $200 Melira

200 won't get you much, I must say. 300-400 is the range for a good cheap top tier modern deck.
At 200, you will get stuff like mono U tron and home brews.

Oh man, just below the price range for Griselbrand's glass Cannon...
I've always been a fan of U/G Infect, just get some cheap beef spells, some Blighted Agent , Glistener Elf , and Inkmoth Nexus and that's basically your deck, haha. The most expensive thing would be Shock Lands

I'm a big fan, my budget deck was tearing down some $400-500 decks at my first modern tournament. It was maybe $75 tops, and was a lot of fun.

Not really.. I sold my collection a few months back and recently got back into the game.
Basically it was something like;
4x Giant Growth
4x Mana Leak
And I don't remember the rest... You can easily look up net-decks, and just make them more budget if they aren't already, you know?

I put together my Living End for something like $50 I think. It's relatively inexpensive and good at hosing crap. Main deck Blood Moon with land cyclers ftw.

Okay. Thanks! Also, fluffybunnypants, do you have the decklist for your Living End deck?

I can get a decklist up at somepoint, but this is harder from a smart phone than it is from a computer. For now, here's a list of Living End decks that have done well recently. It should be noted that you really don't need the fetches.
