Ideas for Search the City Deck

I completely understand Search the City is not a great card, but it's potential to both give extra turns, as well as replace cards as they are cast is too intriguing to ignore.
As such, I have thrown together a deck for the purpose of taking advantage of this.
Misthollow Griffin was the first obvious creature choice, as it can be cast while exiled by Search the City . Then I noticed just how powerful Jace, Architect of Thought 's -2 ability would be. 4 of him in this deck is one of the few times I'd run 4 of any Planeswalker.
Psychic Spiral allows me to return cards that may be needed to return cards exiled by Search the City , while also providing a possible alternate win-con.
I'm looking for any thoughts on how to make this faster, more controlling, or perhaps have a better win condition than Stormtide Leviathan .
I've tried a lot of different spells... Amass the Components , Think Twice , Silent Departure , even Index .
Using Runic Repitition, and various flashback spells was an idea... but it didn't seem to work, as it left no room for control or powerful win-con's.
Any ideas or suggestions (or +1's) would be a great help.
Yeah, other than possibly an Island , Misthollow Griffin will usually be the first card to be returned (via direct casting).
This is for the reason you mentioned, as well as the fact that, opting to cast the Griffin directly from Exile first is usually best, as it does not let opponent know what I have in my hand. (i,e,: If Syncopate is exiled by a Search the City , and I cast one to counter an opponents spell, my opponent now knows I now have another in my hand.)

Be careful with Misthollow Griffin .
Don't cast it out from exile if it is the only card under Search the City . The check to see if you've earned an extra turn happens after you get a card to your hand by casting another same-name card.
