I have been playing at my local shop at some FNM, and I have recently just been being constantly blown away by delver and zombie decks. I have a decent card pool, but I just haven been able to get there. any suggestions would be nice, my most recent effort is Flashy Dudes please tell me what I'm doing wrong here. Besides everything.
seems right. so should i look at cards like Cavern of Souls to bean the countergame, also should i consider abondoning the countermagic entirely, and just focusing on the ramp game.?

Cavern of Souls probably won't do anything for you because your creatures are too divided. There's no one good call for Cavern's ability.
As for the countermagic, it depends on the direction you want the deck to go in. Dropping it would leave you with a ramp deck that would need to go hardcore aggro to compete with Delver and Zombies (you have to fight their board position with your own board position). Keeping it would involve reworking the deck to handle those builds better.
I'm not an expert on Standard - I don't follow the netdecks or play the format myself. Someone more experienced than I would be better able to help you at this point.

Generally you want to run control or ramp. Not both. You would be freezing up mana with ramping sorceries that you need to control the opponent. I would recommend sticking with one side or the other, as both simply seem to not flow well with one another.

sword of F&F actually lets ramp/control work in my opinion.. i played gu ramp control before.. for ur deck ide probably go -1 diss+1 leak because with snappy leak is all you need.. Phyrexian Metamorph i think might be slowing you a tad bit down, although im usnure since i never used it in my deck. Frost Giant smurf isnt really the best card either.. try the sphinx (ide type it but i keep on mispelling) for card advantage or just add in the [primival titan]+1x Mountain +1xKessig Wolf Run package... gl

i like the primeval thought, but i don't own one and to buy a 13-15 dollar card that is going to rotate in Oct, but maybe I will.thanks for the advise.

I think the problem lies in tempo. Delver and Zombie decks will outpace you. Your deck has a divided focus between control and fatties and I feel like it has trouble keeping up with the aggro-control/tempo-control shells of Delver and Zombies. Delver drops its creatures turn 1 and then fights back with its own countermagic and Zombies overwhelms you with board presence and interactions before you can really build your field up.
Does this seem to be the case or is my analysis incorrect?
