I realize that Eldrazi can fill the aforementioned role, thanks to the annihilator mechanic, but their mana curve tends to be too steep for the mana base I have in mind.

Also, while Big Game Hunter can be abused by cards like Strionic Resonator and Deadeye Navigator, I'm looking for cards relatively low in cmc that can repeatedly kill creatures, without help from any other card.

Doesn't look like you needed help with the rules, either.

Repeatable removal on a stick is going to be hard to find. Doubly so if it's self sustaining. There are cards like Ashling, the Extinguisher or Phyrexian Obliterator, but they're either semi conditional or difficult to fit ito just any deck.
