Improvements to Rally and Rout Event deck. Suggestions?

Just purchased a rally and rout event deck as my first ever deck (I am new to MTG). I am looking to improve the deck for the upcoming PAX East and other local FNM events. I have a $100 gift card to Amazon so figured why not spend it on cards ha. Should I buy a fat pack since I'm new and need the basic lands? I also know the cards from the older packs will be cycled out come Dragons Maze so I am trying to stay away from the expensive cards in those packs. This is what I have come up with so far after some researching: 1x Five Alarm Fire, 3x Frontline Medic, 2x Spark Trooper, 2x Lighting Mauler, 4x Kessig Malcontents , Maybe 2x Ash Zealots?

Well for starters, nothing cycles out of standard come Dragon's Maze. M13 and the Innistrad block, Innistrad, Dark Accenssion and Avacyn Restored, won't cycle out until this fall.

I would first prioritize getting to 4-ofs of Champion of the Parish and Silverblade Paladin as they are the deck biggest sources of damage and then also your dual lands Sacred Foundry and Clifftop Retreat, aggro can't afford to miss playing spells.
