Is four color control viable post rotation?

Greetings all,
This is my first forum post, so I hope I'm doing this right, haha.
I built an Esper control deck that was built for post-rotation and I really enjoy it. While play testing and reading comments on various decks/YouTube channels/forums, I got the idea for possibly building a secondary mode as a four color control deck which would be Esper with a splash of Red. I'm not too sure how well it could potentially work or how much it could grow, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for it. The Esper deck I have built would be the main deck I would play at FNM's post rotation (unless Theros makes it complete unviable), and the four color would just be something to bring in from time to time and spice things up a bit.
Thank you all for your comments in advance,

Depends on how useful the new dual lands are in Theros. If they sync well with the shocklands, like the checklands currently do, the amount of decks in the meta using 3 or more colors should stay the same.

No one really knows the answer to this yet, but it hasn't prevented people from running around screaming that the sky is falling.
None of us will know until the full spoiler of Theros.

I would say don't make any decisions about what is or is not viable until after Theros is spoiled. It's a big set with new mechanics and card types. It's going to change a lot about what's possible and playable.
I get it though. I'm excited to move on past resto/thrag myself, even while I milk every last game out of that combo.
