Is it Possible to Make a 5 Color Deck Competitive in Modern?

I'm planning to make this 5 color control deck for modern. Before I some cash, is it possible to make it competitive? Against those turn 3 to 4 win decks?
If you're going to ask, "Why go five color? It's just so illogical." Well, having all five colors is an obsession or fetish, so to say, of mine. I want something unusual yet effective. I'll pursue making this deck, unless someone can convince me that 5 color is impossible.
Here is my deck: Rainbowy Fabulousness Controls You...
Thanks.

The problem is that nonbasic lands are too easy to hate on in modern. You may be able to make a very well constructed 5 color deck work as a rogue deck, but as soon as it starts actually becoming a part of the local meta it will get hated out quickly.

That's actually one of the problems I have right now. Well, what are the chances.

4/5 colour good stuff is a pretty decent deck in modern. Top 8s events once in a while. It's a very expensive deck though, runs a ton of fetches and shocks + all of the good expensive creatures such as Geist of Saint Traft Snapcaster Mage and so on.

EVERY Color Burn works really well. MtGgoldfish.com and mtgtop8.com are good sites to look at the metagame for insight.

There are a few rogue 4/5c Good stuff decks running around. Few and far between but they can do fairly well. Mtgtop8.com may have a few list of a couple of the decks

I see. So it's very much possible. Thanks. What about some things to help with my deck?

I accidentally dropped a word a word in the second sentence. It's supposedly "Before I shed some cash." but I think you don't need it to understand my question.
