Is there a black green tribe besides elves?

Hello there. I have been making decks for years, and I like to think I am pretty good at it. Mind you, I build specifically to keep my decks at about the power of most duel decks. The reason is, I play with family ad friends, and no one wants to get rolled turn 3. In order to do this, I try to keep things tribal. It limits which creatures I can play without being too crippling. Mind you, my definition of tribal is pretty fast and loose. For example, my daughter plays a boros deck. It’s not really a tribe, but the creatures are all red white flying knight/soldiers and we let it slide.
Up until now, there hasn’t been a problem now, my so wants a black/green deck. I can not for the life of me get this deck to win with his play style. And try telling a 9yr old to play something else, and it won’t happen. The issue I am having is, he loves his big green dinosaurs. Galta and the verdant suns avatar, and his vraska, the unseen. So, how can I help this deck get into the 50% win category? I can’t afford expensive cards either, but I may have them if you suggest them. Thanks!
That is a good idea. I can try something with that perhaps.

Bit late to the party, but my suggestion is to maybe use a tribe which is spread out to more colors but only use the G/B part of it. Slivers, Elementals, Spirits, you name it...

Spiders, Saprolings, Snakes, Fungi, Elves, and Treefolk have a lot of BG tribal cards.

Trolls are creatures in black green that get pretty big

I didn’t know there were many gorgons. He does like Vraska. I am avoiding Slivers though. They are a bit OP as far as tribes go I think! Any of those have good card draw?

Crocodiles might be a cool thing for your son. They're big, they're fast, they're super cheap and they're quite strong for a weird tribe:
