Izzet players help please

I have a friend that's running an izzet deck for standard play. He's wanting to focus mostly on burn and cheap CMC counters/control like Unsummon , Dispel running Guttersnipe and Nivmagus Elemental and possibly Dual Casting . Anyone have card suggestions? He doesn't have money to throw down on cards like Snapcaster Mage even though that would be a great card. I know there's no deck build on here but I'm just looking for random U/R card suggestions.

Pillar of Flame , Searing Spear , Flames of the Firebrand , Brimstone Volley , Syncopate , Dissipate , some more
