Jarad and Grimgrin

I'm considering making a modern B/U/G deck that sacs stuff with Grimgrin, Corpse-Born and also pumps Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord . The only problem is I've only been playing since M12, so I don't have a decent card pool for modern.

So I'm wondering whether this is a cool deck idea in the first place, and also what modern cards I should consider.

I have a feeling it won't work... sorry. The fact that the only 2 cards you've mentioned that are key parts of the interaction are on the mid/high end of the mana curve means you'll struggle heavily against a lot of the combo/aggro decks that dominate modern by often focusing on winning by turn 4
