Jenara or Sigarda?

So I like the idea of using enchants on a voltron general. Uril has been taken and Zur has as well and rafiq by other players in my group. I really have been looking into Jenara, Asura of War and Sigarda, Host of Herons . Both have colors that allow me to play some pretty awesome enchantments as well as enchantresses for some nice card draw action. This is my reasoning for both.
Sigarda: Super evasive and her ability is pretty nice for a voltron. Allows for enchantress style play. Main downfall is her CMC is a bit high. Colors allow for pillowforting but no real disruption.
Jenara: Fast and evasive. Can pump herself up. Adds blue for disruption. Low CMC. allows for more enchantments. Downfall is no natural hexproof. Making room for counterspells and draw takes away from total amount of enchantments.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! :)

ItchiUchiha117 I had actually built a Bruna edh and while it seemed incredible it loses all steam when someone gets a clone off on her. Thank you for the suggestion though. If i do decide to play Jenara she will definitely be in there!

as far as i have seen Sigarda, Host of Herons has been the popular one in the 3 or 4 playgroups i have played in, her hexproof and and ability to avoid making you sac things to opponents is a huge power house

The legendary rule is different now so she won't die even if your opponent makes a copy of her. I would seriously look into investing into bruna. but Sigarda is a much better second option over jenara. The hexproof is more valuable then the ability to self pump as it dodges all forms of targeted removal and even shuts down cards like Grave Pact /Martyr's Bond and Living Death from wiping away your creatures.

The problem with the cloning is that it can / does take away all the auras.

only if they are able to block so you use an enchantment that makes your creature unblockable or pro creatures which if your running bruna you should have both. I use Unquestioned Authority for the draw trigger and for unblockable you have Steel of the Godhead .

Idk. I think bruna and I think of how I built zur. Nothing but board wipes and counterspells and enough tutor to grab the 3 enchantments I'll need to kill someone. She's extremely linear. I like the suggestion though.

It also works when they attack. When she attacks or blocks, the ability triggers. So, if they have anything to give haste or stop Bruna from attacking for a turn, your bulked up commander becomes your own death... Why am I arguing against my own suggestion?

Sigarda, Host of Herons is better than Jenara, Asura of War in my opinion. Sigarda has more innate protection that makes voltroning easier and she is in the right colors to do the enchantress draw engine you were taking about. Bruna would only have mesa enchantress, but access to blue will give you other ways to draw cards. Curiosity is a personal favorite card draw aura. If you do Sigarda, theres a shifted version of curiosity in green called Keen Sense as well.

Might I suggest Bruna, Light of Alabaster ? It's absolutely fantastic as an Aura Voltron general. Has some pillowforting, counterspells, lots of good auras, and (this is probably most important) Sovereigns of Lost Alara .
