Jund Liliana question

Are 3 Liliana of the Veil completely necessary for a Jund Midrange build? I know that she is great, but I am considering trading one of mine away to get the cards I need to finish my Bant deck. If I do, what would be the best replacement for the deck?
I usually droper her and use her -2 almost instantly...is this pretty much the idea or do most players try to go for the ultimate with her and use removal to keep creatures off her until then?

In my experience, using her -2 ability is almost always better than trying to ultimate and like what pumpkinsword said, I would keep her. She's one of the best walkers around and in my opinion, plays a huge role in a jund midrange deck.

She is not absolutely necessary for a Jund deck, but she is a contender for the 2nd best planeswalker ever printed, is a Modern staple, and even sees some Legacy play, so she will gradually rise in price over the years. It is a much better idea to keep her than trade her away.
As for using her, immediately -2ing is the correct play if they have creatures, since if they untap and kill her, you will want to have gotten value out of her.

Thank you all. Seeing as the stuff I'm missing for Bant is no where near pricey, I feel I could probably keep her and trade other stuff

Actually, a lot of lists use 4. I'd keep her, she's good in modern too.
