Yeah!
Strangely, i got the same amount of boosters as i got when placing 8th and 11th respectively. Which was one, at least this time it was a reward for placing well instead of just a random giveaway.

8th-4th get an additional 1 booster and 2 random FNM promo card of the month are given away and 1rst and second get a promo. Prizes for 1rst- 3rd depend on attendance but its like 3rd 3 packs 2nd 5 packs 1rst 8 packs and up from there if there is 40+ . Everyone is supposed to get a partisipation pack whether you top 8 or take 32nd so if your organizer isnt prizing top 8-4 with an extra pack then they must be beefing up the 1rst-3rd place prize pool or stealing. The point of FNM for stores is they get a cheaper price on boxes than you would believe and the promos and everyone anti's up 1.19 packs or 5.00 and the store basically is guaranteed to sell thru a couple boxes of cards. When that begins to not be enough for certain store they jip the tourney 4 to 8 packs and that adds up every month.

well there's around 12 (i didnt count) people playing, so it's understandable that there are less boosters to go around. I think there's 2 or 3 boosters and a promo card or two randomly given out to anyone who didn't place high enough for a prize.

well twelve is so small its hard to make much of a 1st 2nd 3rd but still 1 random promo 1st and second get one and everyone playing should get a pack and from top 3 down it should be 1 2 3 packs

Well maybe my shop doesn't get a large discount on booster boxes, or maybe they have high rent, i dunno.

Awesome deck. Thragtusk seems way better than Vorapede though, since Detention Sphere is a thing, and GGG is tough.

GGG is not tough since, almost every land in my deck is green detentionsphere.
Also i have Spell Rupture in my sideboard for dealing with control players, and i disagree that Thragtusk is better. Ol' swagtusk is fantastic in a flicker deck, in this deck he would be a one trick pony, where as Vorapede is so talented it will never be shipped off to the glue factory.
