I was just wandering, what makes Karmic Guide More expensive in the internet than Baneslayer Angel . On trollandtoad, it costs 10 bucks, while baneslayer is 9. Does it have some unbeliavable combo that makes it better?

It's because you can send a really good creature from to your graveyard without every putting it onto the field. So basically Karmic Guide lets you get Akroma, Angel of Wrath on turn 5, which is really, really good. Baneslayer is just a good beater, but Karmic Guide can get you a huge creature, basically any legendary you want, besides the lgendary Eldrazi and Blightsteel Colossus . You could always counter their graveyard shuffle ability though, in which case you can get Emrakul, the Aeons Torn on turn 5. That is why Karmic Guide is so good. It is also old and no longer in print, thus harder to find, regardless of their actual rarity values.

oh, but that would make Resurrection or Zombify even more expensive, because you can get a huge creature on turn 4 and geting a baneslayer on the game on the fifth...

Karmic Guide is way way older than either of those cards, by about 6 years each. It is also a rare, not an uncommon. Hence it is more expensive than either of them. It can also be bounced by many different sources, such as Venser, the Sojourner for repeated use.

Also, Karmic Guide has flying and protection from black for a card that costs 5 mana to put in play.

On second hand, ait has repeated use just like mozerdozer just said.
