the deck is here:

Bruce Lee's Waifu Playtest

Commander / EDH* KarasuKame

please help me get to 99 cards, and let me know if i missed anything.

the idea is to create a pillow fort and have Karona, False God and Witch Hunt beat my opponents face in, encouraging combat between themselves with cards like Edric, Spymaster of Trest , Gisela, Blade of Goldnight , and Avatar of Slaughter .

ignore mana base for now. I can't afford shocklands yet, so I am going to run Maze's End and the guildgates.

P.S. The deck is named so because I recently bought a mat depicting Bruce Lee.

hopefully I linked everything correctly...

Killroy726: I looked at your deck and picked up Blood Reckoning , Wound Reflection , and Prismatic Omen . Though Prismatic Omen may be the only one to survive additional cutting.

I also cut Furnace of Rath .

I'm not looking for the board locking or the resetting that occurs in Dont attack me plz!, while I know that it is more dangerous to me this way...its also a lot more fun to me :)

I also came across the anime art (japanese duel deck) Jace Beleren and Chandra Nalaar . I would like to "shoehorn" them into the deck for purely aesthetic reasons, but will cut them if absolutely necessary.

idea for Jace Beleren : color specific Temple Bell replacement?

idea for Chandra Nalaar : ???

I'm going to say, I've never seen Gisela, Blade of Goldnight encourage people to atttack someone else. It always seems to paint a target on its controller's head in my experience.

so Gisela, Blade of Goldnight would simply generate too much hate towards me? is there a comparable replacement? what would be some creatures that would encourage combat among themselves?

Her problem is she also doubles the damage other people deal. After you play her and pass to the next guy, he'll be looking at that Worldspine Wurm the Selesnya deck before you played and how it's protected by Asceticism or whatever, and he'll see it's easier to remove Gisela or attack you than attack the guy with the 30-damage Wurm that could be coming after him (assuming he doesn't just boardwipe).

I'm not really sure what could accomplish a similar effect to her without this problem... You already have a lot of things I thought about to encourage this (you have two of my favorite Curses, for example...)

I would definitely look to cut Blood Reckoning and Hissing Miasma though, even if you keep Gisela. They are only an obstacle to token creature swarms; it won't slow down Voltron commanders or anyone doing basic "high power creature" at all. You already have tools like Crawlspace that accomplish that more flexibly anyway. However, if you see a lot of token swarms where you play, I could understand keeping them.

I've always been on the fence about Hissing Miasma and Blood Reckoning because my friends do usually play some token support. Between the several Propaganda effects and Crawlspace , I do see how it is redundant and less effective, so I cut them.

I liked your argument about Gisela, Blade of Goldnight , and will likely cut her too.

are there any other hate generators in my deck list I should be aware of?

I just realized my Sol Ring isn't in here.

Given my dependence on colored mana, do I even run it?
