Keeping control after dropping Dovescape

I'm trying to build a Sen Triplets EDH deck that focuses on controlling the board using creatures both before and after I am able to cast Dovescape . I know that I'll be targeted as soon as I resolve the Dovescape , so my question is this: What creature cards can help me survive an inevitable flood of doves?

I'd like suggestions that will be decent whether or not Dovescape is on the field.

How about card:Curse of Death's Hold?

It depends on the situation. In a multiplayer game, card:Curse of Death's Hold can't hit everything because it only affects one player.

Note that of the cards I suggested, Engineered Plague and card:Night of Souls' Betrayal need to be resolved before Dovescape .
