Kozilek or Ulamog in EDH?

Deck Help forum

I'm trying to decide between the two cards mentioned above: Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre or Kozilek, Butcher of Truth . I don't know which one to use in my EDH deck: He Who Paints Your Butt Red. I like Ulamog because he doesn't die to removal/wraths, but Kozilek gains card advantage. Opinions?

Make room for both? That's what I'd do.

Bellock86 seems to have the right idea.

I use Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre because it's cheaper than Kozilek, Butcher of Truth , not to cast it but use it against mill (which is prevalent in my meta). :Last night as a matter of fact, it partially won me the game because it hit my graveyard twice due to mill. This is the reason I play him, otherwise, they are overrated because of the cost and ease to deal with them through counters, Maze of Ith , Path to Exile , Swords to Plowshares and other things out there that make it easy to deal with.

ftr, I've played the deck with him constantly for a couple months and he has never hit the field. But if you add Arena , you can use him to fight other creatures (most having issues dealing with him).

I really want to just use one of them because mill is common in my meta. However, I feel like Kozilek would be handy for the card draw and being able to hit the graveyard easier. But because my colors are Grixis, enchantment removal is hard to come by - making Ulamog a good choice. I will play test both tonight with some friends to develop a pros and cons list.
