I am putting together an EDH deck, and i was wondering if their was any staple cards for a Kresh the Bloodbraided deck?

Grim Backwoods , though a lot of people don't use it, seems like a no-brainer to me. It's a reusable, Instant-speed sacrifice-engine for Kreshy and draws you a card when you've got nothing else going on.

Kessig Wolf Run /Skarrg, the Rage Pits are staples as they can repeatedly give Kreshy trample.

Thromok the Insatiable is great.

Lavalanche is a personal favorite of mine. It's essentially Bonfire of the Damned top-decked whenever you want.

I do have the lands you mentioned, i'll probably add those. I sadly traded of my thromok right before i decided to make this deck, but for Lavalanche , I'll need to keep an eye open, thanks!

I find Grave Pact , Braids, Cabal Minion , Fleshbag Marauder , and Butcher of Malakir to be very useful if you make a heavy sacrifice theme. If you ever get rolling, it keeps the board cleared very oppressively.

I'm liking Vexing Shusher as well, but that is meta-dependent.

Make sure to include a supply of ramp. Sakura-Tribe Elder and Yavimaya Elder are both awesome is Kresh decks.

Token generation can also be very useful to provide sacrifices for a sac-engine and for simultaneously buffing Kresh. I'd suggest Mitotic Slime , Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder , and Dragon Broodmother . There's many more that are just slipping my mind.

Cheap instant speed removal is terrifying in this deck. Being able to pump him out of nowhere and possible swing in with lethal commander damage all the sudden keeps you on your toes when you're sitting across from a Kresh deck.
