Land Destruction vs Mono + first time playing black

Deck Help forum

I'm looking at splashing into black for the first time so i've decided to go back to the strategy got me into playing with physical cards nearly a year ago, Land Destruction. The deck will be B/R/W with aiming to destroy land keeping them off balance and punishing mid-high curves, have them discard early & vital cards which with limited land should make an impact, then removing what they manage to put into play before hitting them for damage bit by bit. Just in case anyone asks why i didn't go Jund LD is because i own a playset of arid mesa and being that fetches make a big difference to fixing in tri-colour decks it makes sense to go down this route.

So i'd like an overall critique of the deck and if anyone has suggestions for the sideboard since i've not played black before that would be appreciated.

The other thing i'd like help with is how to deal with mono coloured decks. When i used to play gruul/naya land destruction i'd slip up against mono as it's hard to disrupt a decks land balance when they only need access to one colour. So if there's any sideboard suggestions to punish someone playing mono colour that will work in strategy once sideboarded in that would be great! For instance if i were playing green i would sideboard Choke for mono blue down or perhaps Spreading Algae against mono black to punish & slow both down.
