Lavamancers, Marauders, or other?

Soon I'm going to be putting together my first attempt at a modern deck. This is what I have:

I feel pretty good about most of the board, except for one recent change I made. I switched a set of Keldon Marauders for Grim Lavamancer . I decided on the Lavamancer because it lowers the curve and doesn't require attacking to get its full damage through. The reason I would consider going back to Keldon Marauders is because his ETB/LTB trigger actually guarantees some damage, which Lavamancer doesn't. Also, I'm not running any fetches, so that's less guaranteed fuel for Lavamancer.

I'd also love recommendations for cards I've totally overlooked. I'm still totally new to modern and don't know the card pool all that well.
