Let's pretend I have a casual Modern Meta...

My playgroup has enlisted a few people for a Modern tournament the weekend after next. I have no idea what the meta is going to look like, but I'm wondering which deck I should run...
Life From The Stinkweed Scholar's Birthing Ooze - Has strong showings usually but some people may say "unfun"
Sarkhan's Angry Birds...I need to swap the Stoneforge Mystic s out...thinking of using Bazaar Trader if it comes to it, maybe put in a Mark of Mutiny or another Act of Aggression .
What do you guys think?
If there's a modern tournament, play your Ooze deck. You like it - who cares if some person cries unfun at a tournament? Just saying: it's like calling Ryu's shoryuken "cheap" in Street Fighter.
I suggest going with what you're comfortable with, and actually playing to win. Unless it's a casual group game and not in fact a tournament...

yea it's a tournament, you're supposed to be in it to win.your Ooze deck isn't even Tier 1 or anything, but I'm sure it'll be able to hold up.

Yeah, he's really fun. Although he tends to eat a removal spell as soon as he hits the board. Fine don't take my invisible potion! You know how it is.

I'm in a very small town in Northern Canada that doesn't even have a card shop, so I don't think I have too much to worry about. Nobody plays Tier 1 decks here

Either way you shouldn't be afraid to take your good decks to a tournament, you never know what someone could show up with.

True enough, I guess I just wanted to see if anybody thought my Sarkhan deck was strong enough.
I don't think it is...maybe as is but that's why Stoneforge is banned in the first place. I could run Naya Blade with 4 BBE, 4 Stoneforge, 4 Wild Nacatl and 4 Punishing Fire ...but that wouldn't go over very well now would it...could be interesting though.

Also, if the Stoneforge comes out, I'd take out the Elbrus...most likely in favor of another Blade of the Bloodchief
