ok here's the deck standard illusions v.4 I just cut some land, I KNOW it is mana light but so far every game I have never had to few mana, my highest cost is 4 so I think I will be able to do it with only 18, we'll see. So I don't need the comments that just say you need more mana but I will take any other advice.

What if we just all agree to let people go ahead and try it out at FNMs to see what happens and call it good?

the redirect is side boarded for a reason, its for red decks that attack me directly, and the turn aside IS only for my lord.

Seems like a fragile plan to rely so much on Lord of the Unreal . I advise replacing Adaptive Automaton with Grand Architect and going for a Wurmcoil Engine backup.

The more I hear it, the more I think you may be right.

For the record, I have always advocated for the Illusion Archtect toolbox.

The nice thing is you don't lose the buff, because Architect still gives +1/+1 to other blues you control. It even buffs Lord out of Shock range. You trade the hexproof bonus it would receive from Lord for the ability to plow people under with a few 6/6 deathtouching lifelinkers.

I may be sold. Lets say I replace my two Adaptive Automaton with two Grand Architect where would I fit my Wurmcoil Engine and is a count of 2 and 2 good for those two additions?

You are aware that all your Redirect s and Turn Aside s can only protect your Lord of the Unreal , right? They do nothing to save illusions.
