Deck Help forum

So I've played in one modern event, but my deck, I Caught the Modern BUG was half done, so I don't think I really figured out what was going on. What I am wondering is how fast the format tends to be in everyone's experience. I hear it's supposed to be somewhere near T4 win fast, so would a 3 color deck stand a chance, and if you'd like to look, would a deck like mine survive the format?

I've been looking at Dismember , but while I test Blood Scrivener I like the dredge on Darkblast to "fix" my second draw. If my substitute creatures under perform then most likely I'll take them out for more removal to try and keep the speed up.
Back to the 3-color thing, that makes me feel better! When I played I was paired against a mono-blue fish deck, a R/G Tron deck, and a Red burn deck, so I was a little curious.

oh, 3 colors is no problem in any format right now, especially not modern, remember how Jund is uberdominant and Naya zoo is as well (just like standard). You have the necessary counterspells to fight off a lot of the dominant decks right now, which is great. I just noticed your substitutions, which if you had the cards they were replacing would make the deck an absolute monster, with Bob and Goyf, but Thoughtseize would help a lot, even though it is expensive, likely too much, in which case Duress is a fine replacement.. I STRONGLY suggest Dismember , replaces Darkblast or just anything else if the blast works well, and gets rid of even the most problematic creatures, a Path to Exile or better in your deck. I would put it in even if it means removing good creatures. Remember to put some artifact hate in the sideboard, if there is a green equivalent to Shatterstorm you'll need it to deal with Robots. Eggs is no longer a problem, due to the recent bannings, and I see no reason your deck won;t do fine in modern, Remember the format is super fast, so you might want dome cheapr removal in the sideboard, Disfigure is awesome.
