Lilliana of the veil, Mono black,comtrol

I need help making a deck based around Liliana of the Veil, i want the deck to be a control. (Sacrifice, direct life loss and hand discard)I would like to have some high end card cards that most players use, I have (1) liliana of the veil so i would like to wwork around that if you are able to help it would be appreciated, thanks
You'll probably want 3 of her in your deck. Probably 3 or 4 Black Sun's Zenith, 1 or 2 Wurmcoil Engine and/or Batterskull, maybe 1 or 2 Killing Wave, 3 Ratchet Bomb, couple Grave Titan and Phyrexian Obliterator , and bunches of kill spells. Good luck, I like black control a lot but really find it ends up being harder to use with no card draw outlets or counterspells. It can be quite devastating though, when built right.

Lashwrithe is great in monoblack. also you gotta have your playset of Go for the Throat. you may find Curse of Death's Hold useful with all the annoying 1 defense critters around at the moment

i also forgot to mention that I will be playing a group game so i need cards that target more then one person also i want the cards to be in standard format.
Like i said earlier i have (1) Liliana of the veil, and that is all i want to put in the deck. if i must then i will post all my black cards i have available to me so that you all can help me.

That's probably best. If you aren't planning on getting cards for the deck, we'll have to know what you have.

That is all the black i own with this list i hope to get as much help as you can give me, thanks to everyone for there helpful suggestions.

you have a lot of good removal cards, which are essential. diregraf ghoul is a great aggressive 1 drop for any black deck. if you had Geralf's Messengers and 1 or 2 more Gravecrawler id suggest zombie control. sheoldred is a great big hitter, good finisher for your deck. this list is just black cards, there are probably some good artifacts you could use like Batterskull Lashwrithe or Wurmcoil Engine. even Steel Hellkite can finish games of well. one thing you will need to acquire for monoblack control is a sweeper, like Black Sun's Zenith or Killing Wave i like using Carnifex Demon cos it gives you a big game winning body, and a sweep on top for 6, and its also a very cheap card
