Looking for advice (Modern competitive)
Deck Help forum

I really like Dredgevine as a rogue deck now that Deathrite Shaman is banned. I know it's not the best deck (it's not even making the Top 8 at any events), but it's lots of fun and has the potential to win in the early and late stages of the game.
What I'm looking for is some advice on how to make my main deck and sideboard more competitive for Grand Prix level events.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Still doesn't mean I understand it KingSorin (aka, suggestion for a card that might not be optimal to run).

I agree, it's too situational to be viable imo, but i think that's why it's there.

Yes, Death's Shadow is in the deck to scavenge onto Inkmoth Nexus with Varolz, the Scar-Striped .
I see your point that they might be the cards to cut. It is essentially a 3-card combo, and is probably too situational/slow to be competitive in modern.

the problem dredgevine runs into is Anger of the Gods which is at least sideboarded in u/w/r. A lot of decks are mainboarding at least one to two copies for zoo. It's faster than verdict and exiles is such a good thing to have. I recently played a list similar to yours and tore it a new one, post banning, with anger.
But I don't understand Death's Shadow in this deck. Mulch or similar might be better to get things in the gy.
