looking for splicer advice

so, i'm trying to get a splicer/golem aggro deck going here http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/splicer-splicer-splicer-splicer-golem-golem/

i know that im gonna need to protect my golems after precursor (looking for 4 withstand deaths and 2 more asceticism), perhaps more precursors and blade splicers. Or I could be way off.

also, should i bother running doubling chant?

I don't know man, while if you can protect Precursor Golem , it would be good. The amount of spells you have to invest into it's protection offsets it's value. If your area is competitive, I can't see Precursor Golem being playable.

agreed on second thought. removed, added spells that boost everyone.

Parallel Lives and Intangible Virtue can be useful. I think you should make them both 3 ofs

Venser, the Sojourner + any Splicer, or PPrecursor Golem = free golem tokens, turn after turn. Prototype Portal + Precursor Golem for lots of tokens.
