Looking to make Werewolves better

Deck Help forum

I know most people don't think werewolves are viable and for the most part they kinda aren't, but that doesn't mean that they aren't fun and I want to make my deck even better. Here is where it stands now. I need a SB and have loads in the Maybeboard as of right now. The deck is Team Jacob's Wolfpack. Thanks

first of all, terrible name... change it now.

secondly, if you want to make werewolves really good try making the Red Blue Green. obviously the Red and green is for the creatures but the blue? It is for control and draw spells. Okay calm down and listen, turn one Reckless Waif  Flip /Wolfbitten captive pass, turn two Mayor of Avabruck  Flip pass. and from here if you don't have to play spells on your turn, don't and counter stuff your opponents do, and use eot cantrips to fill your hand and maintain advantage i.e. Thought Scour /Think Twice , it sounds crazy but it is fun and works. Simic Charm /Izzet Charm really extend the reach of the wolves by being able to dig with Izzet Charm and shock pesky creatures or even stop an errant spell that would be better in the graveyard than the stack. Simic Charm is just what a werewolf deck needs if you can look past its colors, being able to Giant Growth is fun, especially on a Ravager of the Fells  Flip , sticking with Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip beast side, being able to give it and every other permanent you control hexproof at instant speed is flat breath taking. and said ravager can be pulled out of the redzone if you get Supreme Verdict ed or even bounce a pesky creature into a hand then strike hard with the gang.

Try RUG werewolves, you shouldn't be too disappointed

GRU werewolves. You want 3, 1 cmc, turn 1, turn 2 1/1 mana dorks, not scarred villagers. 3 Mayor of avabruck. 2 daybreak rangers, 2 Ulvenwald Trackers, 2 Immerwolfs, 2 Huntmasters, 2 Instigator Gangs, 2 clones, 2 Kruin Outlaw's, 2 Wolfir Silverhearts. 3 Brimstones/ Mizzium Mortars/ Burning Spears, 3 moonmist, 2,3 full moons rise,2,3 Ranger's Guiles. 2 Naturalizes, 2,3 counterspells, 3 Garruk Relentless, 22,23 lands, 2,3 cavern of souls, 2 Kessig Wolf Runss.

The best the deck finished was 5th place, at FNM. Shortly after that I found that Brian Kibbler had made a very similar deck that was almost the same, and had finished in 16th to 32nd place at the best with this kind of deck.at the pro tour events..

I spent $375 wasting my time, ever since werewolf first came out trying to make werewolf a tier 1 to tier 1.85 deck.

But if you want the best werewolf deck possible, here it is. This is it.

Hahaahah The name is there for shits and giggles and I don't feel like changing it especially when I have seen vamp decks titled "Team Edward" lmfao xD

As for RUG werewolves it definitely sounds like a viable option I shall make some changes and playtest it immediately

You should run the 4x Full Moon's Rise and x2 Blasphemous Act combo to boardwipe with ease
